RV Living Roundup February 20, 2015
Things are pretty cold up and down the east coast this week. Feeling the chill makes me wish I was back at Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida keys. We spent three months there last summer and I was completely recharged from the ocean air and vitamin D. And I’m looking forward to going back there this Fall for our next three month volunteer stent there.
If you are huddled somewhere keeping warm this week, this week’s hidden find will help warm you up.
The leak repair for our class C is coming along nicely. The photo at the top shows you the extent of the damage. Since we are yanking most everything out of here anyway, we are researching the possibility of installing a murphy bed where the couch is. If it works out, we’ll share how we did it in future posts.
But for now, I’ll show you a repair that a couple did for their windows. They have double paned windows in their rig that started fogging up. They went with a repair shop to fix it. If you’ve been having issues with fogging paned windows, you could do this as well.
Working on the Road
The Wynn’s interviewed a guy who chooses to work on the road so he can follow the skydiving action around the US. Here is their article where he covers how he works, how much he makes, and what he does when he’s not working.
Since being on the road, I’ve done a lot of research about the air quality and living in an RV. If you didn’t get a chance to read about it this week, here is my post about RV Air Quality.
Next week, we’ll talk about the other part of the article that has spawned a side business for us as well.
Over to You
Do you have something to share about RV Living Now? We’d love to hear about it.
